Looking Ahead to October
On October 9, I will be participating in Art in Motion—A Runway for Creativity at Artspiration in Frederick, Maryland.
I am creating three looks: a red-carpet showstopper, a sustainable design, and a signature design that represents me as a designer. I look forward to sharing the garments, the people wearing them, and the creative process behind each look in October.
I will also attend the Association of Sewing and Design Professionals’ 31st Annual Educational Conference, October 15–18 at The Fontaine in Kansas City, Missouri. I look forward to sharing the skills and ideas I learn in the classes, the results of the Threads Challenge—which I entered!—highlights from the runway show, and the experience of networking with other sewing and design professionals.
